-
Assisted stretching is a one-on-one session where a trained therapist guides your body through a series of stretches. Instead of stretching on your own, you’re supported into each movement, allowing for a deeper, more effective stretch while your body stays relaxed.
-
Yes — you don’t need to be flexible to start. In fact, most clients come to us because they feel tight or restricted. Sessions are tailored to your body, so everything is adjusted to your current range of motion and comfort level.
-
For safety reasons, we cannot provide assisted stretching to individuals who:
Are currently pregnant
Have undergone major surgery within the past 12 months
Do not have medical clearance to resume normal physical activity
Have existing muscular injuries or tears
Have been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Under 18 years of age
-
Your therapist will start with a brief discussion about how your body is feeling and any areas of tightness. You’ll then be guided through a personalised stretch session on a treatment table, focusing on key areas like hips, back, and shoulders. Most people leave feeling noticeably looser and more relaxed.

Assisted stretching focuses specifically on improving mobility and flexibility through guided movement. It’s not a massage and not a clinical treatment, but it sits in between — combining hands-on support with structured, movement-based techniques.
-
This depends on your goals, but many clients benefit from sessions once a week or fortnight. Regular sessions help maintain flexibility, reduce tension, and support long-term improvements in how your body feels and moves.
-
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing such as activewear or gym clothes. This allows your therapist to move your body easily and ensures you can relax fully into each stretch.
-
No referral is needed. It’s designed to be an accessible, effective way to support your body and movement.
However if you would like to claim your stretch session on your private health, you may require a referral from your GP. Chat to us for more info!
